Jay Z performed -- one of two shows -- for a good cause last night in New York City's Carnegie Hall accompanied by a 36-piece orchestra to complement his 10-piece band, Alicia Keys & Nas.
I'm sure it was a treat for the attendees to get to join Jay -- real name Shawn Carter -- as he asked for their participation...
“One hand in the air for Blue,” Jay told the crowd before performing "Glory", the dedication song for his baby girl.
“I didn’t think I was gonna make it through that one, that was tough,” Jay said after performing the number (via MTV News).
